Hello,
My name is Neha, and I would like to introduce myself.
Everything about jewelry fascinates me, from the designing to the creating to the sale. I've been doing all three since I was 14 years old, and I started with producing and selling aluminum foil jewelry. I have an Applied Jewelry Professional (Diploma) from the Gemelogical Institute of America and am about to finish my Masters (MFA) in Jewelry and Metals from RIT, NY, after 4 years (B.Des) in Fashion and Lifestyle Accessory design at NIFT. I enjoy learning new things about jewelry every day, so I continue to take online courses like the Jeweller's Academy UK's jewelry rendering course, I virtually attend as many designer talks as I can, such as NYCJW, AJF, or SNAG, and I give my friends and family a fantastic crash course before they buy an engagement ring or any jewelry.
I worked for Jewelex Pvt. Ltd. (India) as a jewelry designer and assistant merchandiser for fine jewelry, where I was responsible for clients such as Costco, Zales, Kay Jewelers, and others. Extensive research, jewelry design, sample manufacture, and promotion were among my key responsibilities. I oversaw the lifecycle of existing goods, pitched new ideas, and rejected those that were no longer relevant. I'm incredibly organized, and this trait has aided me and the organization in a variety of ways, including data management, information repository development, and document learning to avoid making mistakes. I also have a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate, which helped the organization minimize errors and enhance output.
